Hunt, Fish & Swap

Hunt, Fish and Swap is a premier outdoors equipment show in Springfield, MO which benefits The Arc of the Ozarks. Hunt, Fish and Swap started as the merging of one man's passions, hunting, fishing and supporting people with disabilities, into one event. He never imagined where it would lead.

Over its first four years, Hunt, Fish and Swap attracted over 8,000 shoppers, grown to over 100 booths, and raised $43,000 and helped The Arc purchase a wheel chair accessible van and provide other needed services.

For the events' fifth year, after selling out The Arc's gym in 2012, the event will be held in the Springfield Expo Center in downtown Springfield. The event will feature more booths than ever filled with hunting, fishing and other outdoors equipment from throughout the Midwest.

Tickets can be purchased in advance from: Just in Case, Youngblood Auto, Rick's Automotive, SOMO Farm & Ranch Supply, Honda of the Ozarks and any Rapid Roberts store.

Advance tickets are just $3. Cost at the door is $5. Kids 12 and under get in free.

Activities include the Daisy Mobile Airgun range, a live trout pond from Mountain Springs Trout Park, a miniature horse and more for the kids. There are seminar sessions throughout the weekend for those wanting to learn more about specific hunting and fishing topics.

Directions:

From I-44 Heading East – Take the Chestnut Expressway Exit (Exit 72). Turn right (towards town). Follow Chestnut for approximately 5.5 miles. Turn right on Sherman St. Turn right on St. Louis Street. Arrive at Expo Center. (I-44 west – take Hwy 65 south. Follow Directions below).

From Hwy 65 – Exit at US-65 BUS/Chestnut Expressway – Head west for 2.8 miles. Turn left on National Avenue. Drive .4 miles then turn right on St. Louis St. Arrive at Expo center in .5 miles.

From South Springfield – Take National Avenue north to St. Louis St. Turn left on St. Louis, arrive at Expo Center in .5 miles.
