Music Therapy at Drury University

Every Monday, No Limits Summer Camps head over to Drury University for music therapy. Music Therapy has been shown to provide individuals a mode of therapy to develop sensory, coping, social, physical fitness and independent living skills. Each camper is assessed and goals are established. For some, a goal may be to build vocabulary, both verbal and sign, following directions, practicing appropriate social behavior and developing gross and fine motor skills. Music therapy also develops communication skills that will aid campers to with peers, family and the community.
