Nathan, a 19 year old young man, placed at Renovations after approximately 27 placements in 6 months. He had several legal charges, demonstrated aggressive and para-suicidal behaviors, and had substance abuse concerns. After 9 months in crisis stabilization and 3 months in the transitional apartment, he moved to an ISL. Following success in 1:2 ratio, he moved to a 2:3 ratio, and finally to the first Progressions ISL at a 1:3 ratio. He has almost completed his probation, is employed in the community, rides the bus, self-administers his medication, and has had only one incident of dangerous behavior in the past six months. At the first of the year, after one year in the Progressions ISL, he will begin to receive CI support only.
