Justin has been involved in our programs for around 20 years. He was first active in our Summer Camp Program and is currently in our Adult Saturday Recreation Program. During the past year Justin’s mom unexpectedly passed away. It has been a very rough year for his family. Justin’s Dad, Tom says that the Saturday Recreation Program means so much to their family. Every morning Justin sets his bag by the door ready to come to Saturday Recreation. Most days Tom says that he has to hide Justin’s bag because it is not Saturday yet. Justin’s dad also said he does not leave his son with many people. Tom loves that he feels comfortable enough to leave Justin in our hands and will only use people from The Arc to watch him. He also expressed that what makes him feel most comfortable is that we know Justin and what he needs. We are so lucky to be extended families for some of our clients.
