Kitty attends the day program Monday – Friday. She participates in all of the activities however over the last couple months Kitty has shown even more involvement. Kitty tends to be quiet and avoids conversation. Kitty has been able to hold conversation and greets individuals that she usually would not talk to. Kitty has greatly improved her social skills with day program staff, peers, and has even had reports from her home staff of the visible change and improvement in socializing. Kitty is a great help within the program. She always makes an effort to assist her peers on and off the vans, makes sure they don’t fall, and even enjoys pushing her peers in their wheel chairs.
