The Arc’s annual Sporting Clays Shoot took place Saturday, August 22nd and was proven to be a success. The event was held at Ozark Shooters in Branson. With the help of a strong committee, the event raised nearly $9,000 for a ISL Start-Up Fund. The money raised will go specifically to those individuals needing assistance covering the extra costs involved in moving into ISL’s, such as deposits, that are not otherwise covered by other funding. The Arc was pleased with the turnout of approximately 95 shooters who participated despite the late afternoon downpour. The event could not have happened without such a great group of people from all across the communityhave a passion to help The Arc’s individuals. The Arc hopes to continue to grow this event with two flights of shooters next year raising awareness of what The Arc does. Next year’s shoot is set for August 20th, 2016.
