2nd Annual Trick or Trot Run

On Saturday, October 15th,  The Arc of the Ozarks held it’s Second Annual Trick or Trot 5k, 10k, and One Mile Fun Run. With over 85 runners and 8 sponsors, the event proved to be successful. The Arc Trick or Trot took place at Landreth Park in Joplin at 8am to raise awareness and funding for individuals with disabilities receiving services through The Arc’s Joplin Division. The 5K, 10K and One Mile Fun Run took runners through the beautiful trails at the park for a nice race followed by delicious frozen custard provided by Andy’s. TwelveOne Race Management partnered with The Arc to provide timing services. The costume contest brought out the Halloween spirit in everyone. Our costume winners included Batman, Superwoman and a pirate. Tom Rogers, owner of TwelveOne Race Management emceed the event keeping runners encouraged throughout the race. Following the race, prizes were awarded for top runners overall along with age division medals. Our overall winners for the 5K were Josh Hunter with a time of 23 minutes flat and Amanda Keller with a time of 28:09. Our 10K overall finishers included: Danielle Boswell with a time of 55:22 and Jonmichael Seibert with a time of 1:01.  Thank you to everyone who participated in the Second Annual Trick or Trot. We look forward to next year!
