The Arc of the Ozarks 8th Annual Hunt & Fish Outdoor Show took place on February 20th and 21st at the Springfield Expo Center. Vendors from across the area participated in the event. One special client named Olive set up a booth to sell handmade key chains raising money for her tuition to Camp Wonderland. Olive worked tirelessly creating enough key chains to sell. She had a goal of raising $650 for Camp Wonderland, $50 of which was raised before the event.
Within the first couple of hours of the event, Olive met a sweet couple who asked how much she needed to raise to pay her tuition for camp. They handed her $600 and told her she no longer had to worry about raising the money.
Camp Wonderland, located at Lake of the Ozarks provides a fun, education summer camp experience for campers of all ability levels. This will be the second year Olive attends the camp. She is excited to go fishing and see all of her friends. Olive was over the moon with excitement that she will be able to go to camp this summer.
