The Arc’s annual Sporting Clays Shoot took place Saturday, August 20th and proved to be a success. The event was held at Ozark Shooters in Branson. With the help of a strong committee, the event raised substantial funds for The ISL (Individual Supported Living) Start-Up- Fund. The fund is used for things like deposits on new apartments, furniture and various moving expenses not otherwise covered by other funding. The Arc was pleased with the turnout of approximately 91 shooters who participated despite the rainy forecast. The event could not have happened without such a great location and host, Ozark Shooters, and a wonderful group of people from all across the community with a passion to help The Arc’s individuals. Another partner that helped make this event a success was Central States Industrial, the lead sponsor, who brought out 30 shooters this year. The Arc hopes to continue to grow this event to two sessions of shooters next year raising awareness of what The Arc does. Next year’s shoot is set for August 19th, 2017.
